Shahrukh Khan will soon be seen acting in a film and teaming up with his talented daughter Suhana Khan. Recently this news was brought to light when inside sources revealed the same and it came as a very sweet surprise for Shahrukh’s fans.
The shoot is said to begin fresh in the new year i.e January 2024 and is said to be directed by popular and talented director Sujoy Ghosh.
Bollywood’s king khan will be teaming up with his daughter for the first time and the film is based on an action packed thriller story .

Apparently sources revealed that the title of the maiden film is King and the name is kept over Shahrukh Khan who is popular as the Bollywood King amongst his audiences and fans .
Sources also reveal that it is the first time a father daughter duo will be seen in an action thriller film while one would have thought of them to be paired in a father daughter soft emotional film.
However they have risked it on with spirits and collaborated on an action thriller together ro surprise the audiences.
Reports say that Sujoy Ghosh will be directing the film and he has finalised the script as well after the final touch up. The film is said to be in pre-production stage and non stop shoot shall commence from January 2024.
Director Sujoy Ghosh had earlier directed the superhit film Kahaani starring Vidya Balan and also made its sequel Kahaani 2 ,that marked the peak of his career and impacted the audience with its intriguing story and stellar performance by actress Vidya Balan.
The film is said to be completely different from what Shahrukh has delivered earlier. Shahrukh Khan has already made his mark at the box office this year by delivering super hit blockbuster films like Jawan and Pathan that have crossed the 1000 crore benchmark .
Considering these facts and the characters he has portrayed so far in both of these films and his upcoming film Dunki, his film with Suhana Khan has been planned a little differently. King has lots of chase sequences ,subplots, twists and turns which is why Sujoy ghosh has taken the responsibility to direct it .
The core of the film is emotional and drama driven.

The film is being produced by Red chillies Entertainment and Marflix Entertainment owned by Shahrukh Khan and Siddharth. Siddharth has directed Shahrukh Khan in the film Pathan this year. Siddharth and Shahrukh Khan eventually formed a great bond with each other while shooting on the sets of his film Pathan. According to Shahrukh Khan at the moment.
Siddharth is the best in terms of action and hence he will be seeing all the important action scenes and sequences of the film throughout. In fact they both will also be seen designing the action part of the film.
Meanwhile Suhana Khan will also be seen in Archies, a film by Zoya Akhtar that is apparently also her debut film in the Bollywood while audiences are excitedly awaiting Dunki by the end of this year. The film’s trailer has already been released and one of its songs too is on its way to be released. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and star cast like Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal also will be seen alongside Shahrukh Khan.
Shahrukh Khan this year has given one of his best performances in his films Pathan and Jawan that marked 1000 crore and Dunki will be his third installment of the year where the director Rajkumar Hirani and Shahrukh may blast the box office collections as per the sources.
