Shahrukh khan granted Y+ Security after threats

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been granted Y+ security after he feels that he has threats to his life and security. Shahrukh Khan after the success of Pathan and Jawan is under threat perception.

The actor is going to get 6 commandos as Bodyguards who will be from Maharashtra police special unit.

The security will be given to Shahrukh khan across India and his bodyguards will be armed with MP-5 machine guns , AK-47 assault rifles and Glock pistols. His residence is also going to be guarded by 4 policemen at all times.

Shahrukh khan however will have to pay for his security. In India private security cannot be given sophisticated weapons so the actor took police security.

Intelligence reports suggest that the threats to the life of Shahrukh Khan have increased after the success of his recent movies Jawan and Pathan this year.

The officials have issued a notification to have him provided with Y+ security as there are significant threats to his Life. The security will be provided to him on payment basis.

Jawan had crossed Rs 618.83 crore in India and Rs 1,103 crore globally while Pathaan had collected Rs 543.05 crore in India and Rs 1,050.3 crore at the worldwide box office.

Actor Salman Khan in was given Y+ security in Last year November from the existing X category in view of the reported threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who was involved in the murder of singer Sidhu moosewala.

Actress Kangana Ranaut was also granted Y+ security in 2020 after a quarrel with Shiv Sena MP. She was provided with CRPF Security.After she claimed that her life was at risk.

Types of security covers

There are different types of security covers in which people are provided security.
X, Y, Y+, Z, Z+ and SPG (Special Protection Group) are the main 6 types of security covers.

Under Y+ security 2 policemen are employed for Mobile security and 2 for residential security.

Z has six gunmen for mobile security and one for residence security.
