Being a member of Indian foreign service (IFS) he represented India as ambassador to Pakistan, Poland and the United Nations. His diplomatic skills were highly efficient as professional which had played a crucial role in advocating for India’s interest at the global stage. He was never a run-off-the-mill officer. He smoothly made the transition from government service to frontline politics. The reason remain still unclear despite narrating his story in his autobiography ‘One Life is not Enough’. His deep understanding of international relations along with his diplomatic experience provided him an asset to the Indian government.

Intellectual and Cultural Contribution Natwar Singh was very fond of learning new things in literature and arts which is another defining aspect of his personality. He had a very deep understanding of inner working of Indian diplomacy and politics, classical music, literature and visual arts. His involvement in all these cultural activities reflected his diverse nature and belief in India’s rich cultural heritage. He always tried to follows all the traditions in his daily life.Being a part of government service, he always take out time for classical music and literature. This showed his keen interest in his busy schedule.

3. Friendship and Loyalty –

A Personal tribute Iyer also showed up his friendship with Natwar Singh; he described him as a friend and his mentor; highlighted his loyality, integrity and unwavering commitment towards his friends circle. He stated that despite the challenges and controversies being in his political career he remained generous. He always remained stick to his principles and values. He was having a great sense of humour who have always travelled with different interest of people

All the contributions which he had done through his diplomatic skills and as an ambassador had made everyone speechless. His work can’t be defined merely by words.
