Shanshan Causing 4 Lives Missions to Evacuate

The Typhoon Shanshan created severe unrest in Japan. The Japanese authority issued the top level alert throughout the region of the southern island to over five million the citizen in Japan after the decades one the strongest typhoon hit Japan’s land.  People are urged to find shelter in different places after three died on the first day.

The Severity  of Shanshan

The reposts showcased the death of 4 citizens and more than 90 people being severely injured as Typhoon Shanshan made landfall in Japan’s southwest region. In these regions, more than thousands of people are facing power cuts.

The Level Five Order

The level five order was issued on the Kyushu island side, through this order the citizens are suggested to find immediate shelter in a much safer location as well as life-saving measures such as seeking refuge in the much higher region or higher area of their houses. An immediate evacuation order has been passed for some regions of this area.

Authority issued the emergency level five warming, this warning rarely being used. Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) also issued a special warning that is only issued for violent storms, landslides caused by wind currents and heavy downpours. The winds of the storm were recorded as high as 252 km/h (157mph) in the Kyushu region.

The Landfall and Damages

Typhoon Shanshan is bringing severe destruction is the transport services as high-speed trains and hundreds of flights were cancelled heading toward southern Japan because of the wind and rain. After the landfall in the southwest area, the typhoon weakened becoming an extreme tropical storm and thrashing its way to the northeast of Japan. This storm is bringing torrential rain to the land, causing severe problems in the transportation service.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), at 8.00 the local time and (23:00 GMT on Wednesday) Thursday the Shanshan landed in the Kagoshima region. In the way of this storm, Shamnshan destroyed and damaged various residential places, damaged the glass window, the debris of these disruptions was everywhere, the severity of the storm was further elaborated when the trees rippled out also the cars were overturned.

Another Passed Away

Three people died in the Shanshan on Tuesday. Another 80-year-old senior citizen passed away due to being trapped in his house and the roof of the place collapsed. His death was confirmed by the local police on Thursday. This incident took place at 17:30 local time, as reported by Japan’s national broadcaster NHK.

According to the reports of NHK, the fire brigade came to rescue the man almost 50 minutes after the event and later he died in the hospital.

The Typhoon near the coastline is intensifying its speed rapidly, causing more severe wind currents and Shanshan probably lasting longer than expected because of global warming and climate change. Japan is one of the victims of increasing climate change and environmental disruption.
