Sikkim’s Ropeway was Inaugurated on September 16
The ropeway started operating on September 16, with a ceremonial first ride. Several prominent figures attended the event, including Sikkim Assembly Vice-Chairperson Rajkumari Thapa, former Press Secretary to the Chief Minister Vikas Basnet, District Panchayat K.D. Khaple, and other notable party workers and staff.
To ride the ropeway, visitors will have to pay a price of INR 950.

According to reports, Vice-Chairperson Thapa hailed Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang for his role in completing the ambitious project. She also expressed deep gratitude to Chief Minister Tamang for his immense efforts.
