The latest addition to Rohit Shetty Cop universe “SINGHAM AGAIN” starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone against Arjun Kapoor (his debut as a villain) to save Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film has entered the 200-crore club.
Within five days of its release, it earned 213 crores worldwide, approximately Rs 153 crore in India alone.
However, Singham Again received mixed reviews. The film brings back the intense action and drama fans expect from Shetty’s “Cop Universe” and introduces a new character, Lady Singham, played by Deepika Padukone, which is something new for her. Tiger Shroff also joins the ensemble after not giving hits for a while, contributing to the film.
Overall, critics and audiences have given “Singham Again” positive feedback for its high-energy action sequences, patriotic themes, and strong performances, particularly from Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
But the film faces backlash for its poor dialogues, boring narrative, a bunch of not-so-useful characters, and bad acting done by Deepika Padukone which according to the audience was not suitable for Lady Singham’s Character, her dialogues were pretty boring in the whole movie. Ranveer Singh acted the same kind of way, his Simba character was the overdosed of Comedy as usual. Arjun Kapoor’s slayed as a villain proved everyone wrong about the waste number of characters against him, He was the most exciting part of Singham Again who is now capable of holding the Mass Audience by himself. No words for Ajay Devgn he is the god of Cop Universe. Tiger Shroff did an unbelievable job in action; Akshay Kumar is the Khiladi and will always be and the unexpected cameo of Salman Khan is a total waste without any meaning.
Overall, the film follows the concept of Ramayan, as shown in the trailer, and combines action with emotion. The trailer clarifies the whole story, but it does not offer anything new. It can be considered a good one-time watch.
