Fitness is proper balance of mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well being. It can be achieved by integrating practical and sustainable habits as daily routine in our lives rather than adhering to unrealistic fitness regimes. This article highlights the importance of work life balance and how one can remain happy and their body fit in their busy schedule – a idea that align with overall well being, balance and longevity rather than having strict workouts or diets.

Fitness has related to the word ‘common sense’ which means to remain fit, a person need not to take regulations from nutritionist and trainers, he should follow only some basic regulations. Hitting hard is not the only way to remain fit.

At its core, common sense in fitness means listening to your body maintaining consistency in physical activity with respect to your comfort level, prioritizing practices that are realistic, sustainable and beneficial for long term health and maintaining a proper diet. 1.Listening to your body:

One of the basic principles to remain fit is to listen to your body. Listening your body means saying attention to what you feels before, during and after exercise, how your body responds and according to that adjustments need to be done. For example, if doing a particular exercise causes pain or discount to your body then it is a signal that your body is not ready for such exercise, you need to find the different approach for this. Learn to identify that signal otherwise ignorance can harm your body. Accept your body as it is and don’t pressurize at a time; it will take some time to modify.

2. Consistency over integrity:

A challenging task to remain fit is to remain consistent. Focus should be more to remain consistent rather than on high intensity. Practicing exercise on a particular time period on a daily basis is beneficial then to high intensity workout that leave you exhausted. Consistency helps to build habits that can be maintained over a lifetime, which is the key to achieve fitness. For example, having a 30 minute walk daily  will help you to remain fit and free from all sorts of diseases especially the cardiovascular disease. This can be more sustainable and effective for long term health.

3.Balanced nutrition:


Maintaining a proper balanced diet is another challenge to remain fit in today’s world. Instead of eliminating entire food groups and drastically reducing calorie intake, one should prefer to have nutrients that will provide them sufficient energy. This includes consuming whole foods, nuts and legumes such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains while moderating the intake of processed foods and sugars. Balanced diet and it’s processing in stomach is essential for complete absorption of food for their complete utilisation.

    1.No risk, no gain:


    It is seen people using this phrase , but it’s actually not correct. Health is not the thing that should be risked. It’s always the most prioritized thing.  The phrase should not be used in case of health. People in order to become fit early , they try different methods but it’s not the correct way to do so . It should be avoided. Always remember that good health is gifted by nature , it’s not the thing to be played off. Take good care of yourself.Eating fresh foods and items helps to build healthy microbiome in stomach which further aid in our health.
