The first two films produced by PVR Studios are namely Taare Zameen Par and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in the year 2007. Since its founding, it has released more than two hundred movies from Hollywood, including as The Aviator, Mission: Impossible III, Kill Bill: Volume 1 and its sequel Volume 2, The Twilight Saga, and Chicago; more than 100 Bollywood films, such as box office hits like Ghajini, Golmaal Returns, All The Best, Don, Sarkar Raj, and Omkara; and almost 25 local motion pictures.
The firm acquired the Indian rights to distribution for Salman Rushdie’s books Midnight and the Children, which won the prestigious Booker Award, in the month of October 2012. Filming for the movie Stree 2 has already started. At this duration, the script for the movie Stree is “O stree raksha karna (Stree, safeguard us)” rather than “O stree kal aana (Stree, arrive the following day).” In the video, the words “raksha karna ( safeguard ourselves)” can be seen on the surfaces in the place of the phrases “kal aana (arrive the following day),” which were displayed in the 2018 movie Stree. The movie’s theme “Sarkate ka Aatank (Terrorism associated with the Headless Human being),” comes next.
The production companies Maddock Films and Jio Studios will collaborate on producing the movie. The upcoming movie, which is directed by Amar Kaushik, will reunite Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. In addition, the next instalment claims to include a number of additional brand-new thrills. The first Stree was a comedy with horror smash when it hit theatres in the year 2018.

The announcement of Stree 2 coincided with the debut of Varun Dhawan’s film Bhediya.
