Megastar Shah Rukh Khan and producer/interior designer Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan recently appeared in an interview with India Today Conclave joined by her soon-to-release movie The Archies co-stars. She appeared in the interview with co-stars Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina.
Suhana Khan claims that on her first day on The Archies set, she felt “extremely insignificant” and credits Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan as her “biggest source of guidance.” Fans are excited to see Suhana Khan make her film debut in The Archies by Zoya Akhtar. Recently in an interview, the 23-year-old Archies star recounted memories of her first day working as an actor on a movie set. Suhana described feeling “extremely insignificant” amid the commotion on the very first day of filming, at the recent India Today Conclave in Mumbai.
Suhana stated in the interview that with the amount of people the amount of lights on set with that hair and makeup and the rest of the chaos, she felt extremely insignificant and she felt like she was caught in the middle of it. The actress further said that she felt extremely nervous and responsible after realizing on her first day that everyone on the set was doing everything to facilitate Zoya’s vision.
In the interview, Suhana Khan was asked about her biggest critic or to name someone who gives her feedback. In her reply, the actress stated that the “biggest source of her guidance” are her parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. She said that she wouldn’t call them her biggest critic but her parents and entire family are her biggest source of guidance as they all chip in and help each other out. She also stated that she often asks her mom if her hair and outfit are okay.
The Archies movie is set in the fictional town of Riverdale in 1964. The cast will appear as vintage avatars. In the poster, Suhana is dressed in a solid brown button-down mini dress and a turquoise patterned blouse. Suhana Khan has been cast in the role of Veronica.

In her college years, Suhana Khan studied acting and starred in several short films, however, Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is her first appearance in the Hindi cinema industry. Suhana had previously discussed how it was “scary” for her to leave home at the age of 15 to attend boarding school.
Suhana stated during the release of Koel Purie’s book, Clearly Invisible In Paris, that when she left for boarding school at 15, it was scary for her due to the culture shock. Still, even though it took her some time to feel at home, she ultimately did because of the people there and the friendships she made. Their love made her feel seen in times when she felt invisible.

The Archies movie also includes the acting debut of Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor and late Bollywood actress Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor, Bollywood’s angry young man Amitabh Bachan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda in addition to Suhana. On December 7 2023, Netflix will premiere the movie. The 1960s-set movie, according to its filmmakers, follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton to explore friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak, and rebellion. Audiences will be transported to the made-up, hilly town of Riverdale.
