James Gunn, who took over as co-chief director of DC Entertainment Corporation on November 1, has started writing the screenplay for a future Comic film by the latter part of the year 2022. Gunn had said in the month of December that Superman represented one of DC Studios’ foremost goals, if not perhaps the most crucial one, before he disclosed that he was putting together a second Superman movie and might even produce it.
Furthermore, James Gunn announced that he would not be playing Henry Cavill in the DCEU because the script was centred around a teenage Superman.
