The Bollywood Diva and one of the most talented actresses of Bollywood– Sushmita Sen has recently opened up on her return to the sets of Aarya 3 after going through a heart attack that came as a quite alarming health problem all of a sudden to the beautiful actress.
Aarya season one was released in the year 2020 and it made a mark in the audience’s minds that compelled the makers to go ahead with its sequels. Aarya season 2 was released in the year 2021 and now Aarya 3 is soon to be streaming on Disney Hotstar in the month of November.
Aarya meant to be a comeback for Sushmita Sen into acting in the year 2020 and was said to be Sushmita’s Digital debut. The story is all about a powerful tough woman who goes against all odds and intricacies in order to protect her kids and her family from the world of crime. The actress recently revealed that Aarya 3 is to begin streaming on 3nd of November, 2023.
Unfortunately ,Sushmita Sen was said to have suffered a heart attack during the shoot of season 3 of the series and the shoot was stalled for reasons best known to the unit. However, recently Sushmita Sen revealed how the unit made it comfortable for her on the sets and what was it that boosted her confidence to resume the shoot and do an action sequence post a heart attack. She mentions things that made her feel confident on resuming the shoot and how things went smoothly in a flow that completed the season 3 and is now all set to be streamed on Hotstar.
Sushmita Sen mentioned that the day she began shooting for Aarya season 3, the set had a complete hospital set up made specially for her. Right from the ambulance, to the doctors, nurses and a fully equipped set up , everything was in place for her if anytime she needed any help.
Sushmita Sen mentions that she felt comfortable shooting action sequences and remaining a crucial part of the series once she knew that she had all the necessary support and help in case she needed any on the sets itself. The unit also made her comfortable and took it all with ease according to her pace.
Sushmita Sen is reportedly said to have undergone an Angioplasty surgery with a stent placed in the heart when she suffered from a heart attack while she was shooting the series already. She mentioned that it was a massive heart attack and one of her main arteries supplying blood to the heart was 95% blocked. Once she recovered she immediately joined the sets to complete her web series before its release date.
She also credited her active lifestyle that made her believe that she can perform exceptionally well against all odds and complete the shoot of her web series that has given her worldwide recognition for portraying the powerful character.
The season 3 trailer shows the resolute determination and transformation of the character into a wounded tigress who is willing to go to any limits to protect her family and loved ones. She faces several challenges and overcomes her adversaries potentially as a very strong woman as she tries her best to protect her loved ones from the crime world.
Aarya is an adaptation of a Spanish crime drama called ‘Penoza’. The initial two seasons were all received with a zeal by the audiences and its critics. The first season also was recognised and felicitated with the Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards.
