The GII 2023 rankings, released by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on Thursday, have firmly established Switzerland as the world’s most innovative economy. This achievement comes as no surprise, given Switzerland’s consistent dedication to fostering innovation across various sectors.

Switzerland’s remarkable performance in the Global Innovation Index has been driven by a relentless commitment to research and development (R&D), a robust intellectual property framework, and a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
