Taylor Swift, the American singer, has been consistent not just in setting records but also with her presence at every game played by Travis Kelce ever since the two started dating.
Christmas brings the holy winter spirit and joy every year but not every Christmas guarantees smiles. Christmas was not all merry for the couple as Travis’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs lost 20-14 to the Las Vegas Raiders. The match took place at the Arrowhead Stadium on 25th December 2023, marking the day of Christmas.
The loss was a bitter experience for the Kelce’s team and it’s fan but it became even worse when Kansas City Chief fans started trolling Swift. They called it a Taylor Swift curse, blaming the singer’s presence for their favourite team’s loss.
After the game was over, and the entire stadium was filled with mixed emotions, the couple walked out of the there together hand in hand. Regardless of their loss, Taylor Swift stayed there beside Kelce to support him not only during the tough game but also after it.

1.1 Kansas City Chiefs vs Las Vegas Raiders
Like any other game, the singer made sure to attend the match and support her boyfriend but it was a bit different that day. Taylor arrived at the Arrowhead Stadium along with her entire family, including her father Scott Swift, mom Andrea Swift and her brother Austin Swift.
The entire family cheered for their beloved Kelce and his team as they took on the Las Vegas Raiders in the match. Travis’s father Ed Kelce was also present there at the stadium to witness his son play against the Raiders.
1.2 Taylor Swift: Travis Kelce’s Wife?
Taylor showed up to the game wearing a red sweater for Christmas which matched the official colour of the Kansas City Chiefs. She paired the sweater with a plaid skirt and a Christmas hat which had Kelce’s jersey number 87 embedded on the front.
During the second quarter at the stadium, Travis made a successful catch rundown. His girlfriend seemed very pleased with this move and cheered him on to the fullest. Her enthusiastic celebration was shown on the big screen to which the on-air analyst, Tony Romo commented saying “His wife loves it, I mean, his girlfriend.”
This was not the first time Taylor was called Travis’s wife. The star had been addressed as the player’s wife previously by Tony again. When the camera was pointed at her, Taylor was seen flashing a smile trying not to blush.

1.3 After The Game
Taylor stood by Travis after his team was done playing a tough match, unfortunately losing to the Raiders on their Christmas day game. The couple walked out holding hands after the game ended.
The singer was seen wearing the aforementioned outfit with a black bomber jacket while the player wore a white sweater with grey trousers along with his team’s varsity jacket.
A Kansas City Star photojournalist later on went to capture a picture of the moment and posted it with the caption “spent my Christmas waiting for these two lovebirds.”
