On December 13th, Taylor Swift treated her fans with a present they had all been waiting for. On her 34th birthday, she made her much-anticipated The Era’s tour film available to stream. So, drop everything now; the extended version of the tour is now available for rent on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play Store—in the USA, UK, and Canada.
The extended cut comprises three songs—”The Archer” from 2019’s Lover, “Wildest Dreams” from 2014’s 1989, and “Long Live” from 2010’s Speak Now—that were not shown in the theatrical version. The theatrical cut was 2 hours and 45 minutes long, which was a shortened version of the original setlist of 44 songs. Therefore, the extended version is 15 minutes longer.
The announcement of the release came a few days ago, when Ms. Swift took to her social media accounts to announce the release of the film on OTT platforms. Currently, the film can be accessed only in a few countries; however, other countries will have access to it soon. Fans can rent the film in the USA for $19.89 and for 15.99 pounds in the United Kingdom. Subscribers of Amazon Music and Prime can also stream all of Taylor’s studio albums for free on their platforms from December 13th to 20th.
