What happened in Pennsylvania?
At a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump was shot in the head. The shooter and an onlooker were killed, and two others were injured. Trump sustained a minor injury but was suitable to walk down from the incident. The Secret Service and law enforcement quickly neutralized the threat. The attack has drawn strong responses from political figures, with numerous condemning the violence and expressing concern for Trump’s safety.

Who is Crooks?
The shooter is a 20 year old boy named Thomas Mathew Crooks. He is claimed to be held interned by the FBI.
The boy is a tenant of Bethel Park in Pennsylvania.
Crooks positioned himself on the roof of a construction at a distance of 130 yards from the delivery point where Trump was standing.
In the videotape, the gunfire was easily heard. Trump got hit around his left observance and he incontinently stooped down saving himself.
He was the Republican Party’s nominee in the 2016 and 2020 presidential choices, winning in 2016 but losing to Joe Biden in 2020. His administration was marked by significant policy changes and difficulties.

Why was Trump shot ?
According to recent reports, Trump has a high probability of winning the election. There are speculations raised around this saying this might be the reason for the shot.
A bystander added there was no ambulance or doctors present at the scene leading to the former president being taken to the hospital in an armored vehicle.
The onlookers said they spotted Crooks earlier that day with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. The authorities were alerted beforehand.
The US Secret Service passed a statement saying “Crooks fired multiple shots towards the stage from an elevated position outside the rally”.

The past of Crooks
According to his past records Mathew appears to be a bright student. After graduating from Bethel Park High School in 2022, he was awarded with a $500 “star award” from the National Math and Science initiative.
After this attempt on 13th July, he was neutralized immediately.

This incident has fuelled up the dark tragedy of 1963, November 22. The murder of US president John F Kennedy left everyone speechless. He was shot right in the head near the roadway while his car was passing. The incident was covered up backing the episode to showcase it as an undesirable example of bravado.
