Ahead of the Winter Transfer Window Real Madrid are keen on few defenders. Diogo Dalot is the latest name coming in the spotlight although Los Blancos had prior interests on Trent Arnold of Liverpool. In absence of their main defenders like Dani Carvajal, David Alaba and Éder Militão the club is in a serious need of some defensive signings.

Trent Alexander-Arnold
The English Right Back is a Liverpool Academy graduate and has been an essential part of the team and a key player for Jürgen Klopp. Trent has won 8 major trophies playing for the reds including the Premier League in 2019-20 and the UCL in 2019. He has also been recognized for his individual achievements like PFA Young Player of the Year in 2019–20.
The principal reason behind Real Madrid’s interest in him can be the age factor, he has achieved almost everything with his childhood club at the age of 26 and he may look for new campaigns now. Diogo Dalot
The Portuguese full back is in the radar of the Los Blancos. Amidst the transition phase of Manchester United the right back is used in a lot of other positions like left back and currently as a wing back. Dalot has made an impressive growth playing for the reds with his passion, aggression and inspiring mentality and was chosen above Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the last window. Pedro Porro
The ex Girona player is a starter for his national Team and an important player for Spurs as well. He has been a part of Man City and Real Valladolid as well in a permanent transfer and loan transfer respectively. In the 2020-21 season he got transferred to Sporting Cp and after a successful loan spell under Ruben Amorim he made a permanent transfer. After being an integral part of Amorim’s squad his market value spiked and Spurs came for him in the 2022-23 season.

Alphonso Davies
Since the last Summer transfer window Davies has been a hot topic of discussion for the Madridistas. The Canadian has won a lot of trophies with Bayern and at the age of just 24 may look for new offers. His contract with the German club expires at the end of this season and it is quite possible that Bayern sell him in the upcoming winter window so that they do not face a significant loss by letting him go for free in summer.

Jorrel Hato
The Ajax star is being monitored by the UCL champions and has a current market value of more than €26 million. Hato can play not just as a left back but also as a left Centre Back and this adaptive nature is highly in demand in all the European Clubs currently.
The age factor is also in favour of him, at the age of 18 a big move to such a club can be a dream move for him but this can go south as well.
