The Archies trailer is out: Suhana, Agastya, Khushi in a love triangle!

Catch the newly released a, featuring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor entangled in a romantic triangle. The preview also brings to life the cherished characters from the beloved Archies comics.

Zoya Akhtar’s film, The Archies, marks the debut of star kids Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor. The trailer unfolds with the characters joining forces to save the fictional town of Riverdale.

Archie Andrews and his crew, featuring Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and Reggie, have become legendary through various film and cartoon adaptations. Now, Zoya Akhtar’s take on their adventures is unveiled in the trailer. Set in the town of Riverdale, the film portrays the seemingly ordinary lives of Archie and his friends, with Agastya Nanda’s Archie aspiring to make it big in the music scene. 

As Suhana Khan’s Veronica returns to Riverdale, a sassy exchange with Khushi Kapoor’s Betty adds a touch of humor. The trailer offers a glimpse into the trio’s journey through love, friendship, and the challenges of life, along with their friends played by Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda.

Everything is smooth sailing for Archie and his gang until Veronica’s dad decides to transform Riverdale’s Green Park into a luxurious hotel, causing a rift among friends. Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, Betty, and even Veronica are determined to go to any lengths to rescue their city and the cherished spot. These teens are on a mission, proving that age is no barrier to making a difference in the world. Let the adventure unfold – the trailer blends fun, seriousness, and some Va Va Voom moments.

Zoya Akhtar, the film’s director, took to social media to share the trailer, exclaiming, “Get ready to Rock n’ Roll with The Archies in just 28 days! The Archies premieres on December 7th, exclusively on Netflix.”

Zoya Akhtar directs the Hindi adaptation of The Archie comics, with co-production credits going to Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Sharad Devarajan through their production companies Tiger Baby and Graphic India. It will be released on streaming giant Netflix on December 7.

The character Archie Andrews first appeared in the Pep Comics and gained insane popularity as a standalone character in pop culture. We’re excited to discover what the Indian adaptation of the series has to offer.
