Ujjain Priest Helps 15-Year-Old Rape Survivor

The case which arose recently and came to light has put humanity itself to shame. The shocking proof of people forgetting that the one in front of them was just a 15-year-old girl who begged them for help but got none. She wandered from one house to the other till she reached an ashram where a priest came to the rescue of the 15-year-old rape survivor who was found to be in a gruesome spine-chilling state. 

CCTV footage of the 15-year-old rape survivor surfaced where she could be seen going from one door to another in an injured and half-naked state. The CCTV footage also captured a man shooing the girl away while she pleaded for help. She went from one place to another, hoping to find a shred of humanity which she only discovered when she reached an ashram in the neighborhood and was later taken to the hospital.

The Priest Who Rescued the 15-Year-Old

Acharaya Rahul Sharma, a priest in the Dandi Ashram from Badnagar road found the teenager at around 9:30 AM on a Monday morning when she was seen coming closer to the ashram itself. The priest without wasting a single moment quickly rushed over to assist the teenager who was half-naked and bleeding. The priest provided her with a towel to cover herself and asked her for her name and address, but they could not properly understand the language she was speaking. 

The priest said he tried his best to ask her about her name, and about her family and assured her that she was safe but she was way too scared. He said that the girl could trust him while they waited for the police to arrive because whenever someone tried to approach her even a little, she would hide behind the priest. She also spoke of a place which but sadly, the priest could not understand what she was trying to say.

The authorities have also formed a special investigation team to investigate this rape case which has been registered and provisioned under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses or POCSO Act.

The Possible Suspect

The police have raised suspicion towards the auto driver whose auto the 15-year-old was traveling in. She took a ride from Shanti Nagar towards Hatkeshwar Colony at 5:30 in the morning.

As stated in the reports, the auto driver has already been arrested by the police. After examination of the auto, it was revealed that there were blood stains in his auto and further examination is actively been conducted.

Narottam Mishra, the state home minister has revealed that the condition of the girl is finally stable.
