IND vs NEP Under-19 Asia Cup:-After facing a massive defeat against Pakistan, India returns back to the game under the captaincy of Uday Saharan. With an Impressive 7 wicket haul by Raj Limbani and a classy opening by Arshin Kulkarni and Adarsh Singh, India qualifies for the Semifinals of the Under-19 Asia Cup, 2023.

Indian cricket team took over the group stage fixture against Nepal on 12th December, 2023 at ICC Academy 2, Dubai. Indian bowlers did a commendable job by taking 10 wickets against Nepal in just 22.1 overs with a very low score of 52 runs on the board. Right-arm seam bowler Raj Limbani enjoys the victory with a massive 7-wicket haul. Raj Limbani surprised everyone in the pavilion with his impressive score of 7/13 and drove India into the Semifinals of the Under-19 Asia Cup,2023 under the captainship of Uday Saharan.

India stops Nepal at 52/10(21.1 0vers)

After losing against Pakistan on 8th December, it was important for India to win the match against Nepal in order to qualify for the Semifinals which they successfully did as a young 18-year-old boy from Vadodara took a massive 7 wicket haul. Nepal was shaken by losing 6 major wickets in the powerplay itself. Neither of the players scored in double digits and our boys in blue were able to stop the opponents on the score of 52/10(21.1 overs).

India won the toss and chose to field. The first fall of the wicket was seen in the 4th over when Deepak Bohara returned to the pavilion scoring a single in 11 balls as the bowl was caught by Aravelly Avinash. Nepal faced its second wicket in 6.2 overs as Uttam Magar returned to the dressing room without scoring a single run.

The next week 3 wickets played a massive role as Nepal lost its 3rd,4th, and 5th wicket on 17 runs. With the LBW of Gulshan Jha by Aaradhya Shukla, India successfully took 6 wickets in the powerplay. And with the last wicket of the top scorer Hemant Dhami(8), India not only took 10 wickets but Limbani also completed his 7-wicket haul.

Limbani becomes the Player of the Match.

The right arm pacer with his inswingers left everyone surprised on the ground. In the low-run chase, Indian openers Adarsh Singh and Arshin Kulkarni finished off the match with their classy partnership of 54 runs with Arshin single-handedly scoring 43 runs in just 7.1 overs. Raj Limbani became the Player of the Match.

Arshin Kulkarni finished the match with a thumping 6 showing the IPL recruiters of 2024 that he is all set to enter the world of IPL with his impressive skills. Kulkarni also gave his outshining performance in a match against Afghanistan scoring 70* and taking 3 wickets. Though he couldn’t do much with his skills in the match against Pakistan.

India qualifies for the semifinals of the series.

Pakistan also qualifies for the semifinals after defeating Afghanistan as both their openers Shamyl Hussian and Shahzaib Khan scored 75 and 79 respectively with the opening partnership of 115 runs. Pakistan won the match as Afghanistan failed to score 303 and got all out at 220 runs in 48.8 overs. Pakistan now tops the table by 6 points and India on second with 4 points in its hand.
