“We support BTS,not HYBE“,Army’s powerful statement on news regarding the company’s internal issue with Ador’s CEO.

On Monday, 22nd April ,hybe corporation  launched an audit on its subsidiary label ADOR and its CEO,for plagiarism.The corporation also called for her resignation.

The corporation is one of the most successful music labels in South It’s subsidiary labels include Belift Lab, Source Music, Bighit Music, Ador, KQ entertainment and Pledis Entertainment.

 It represents successful kpop bands like BTS , Seventeen, NewJeans, le Seraffim, TXT and Enhypen.

The Music Labels’s success started when Their k-pop band BTS, known as Bangtan started to gain popularity during “wings’’ world tour.

The corporation was formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment until 2022, when it underwent development and rebranding to become HYBE.

The reason of accusing The CEO of Ador:

As said by the local media, the corporation accused The CEO of Ador and other executives for plotting against them to take over the corporation.

On the other side the CEO of Ador denied the allegations, instead accusing the Music Label for launching the new girlgroup “Illit” that was copying Ador’s girl group “NewJeans”.

The situation went overboard on Thursday when CEO of Ador, sobbed several times and used expletive language during the two hours of the press conference meeting.

“It’s not me who betrayed Hybe, it’s Hybe that betrayed me,” said the accused CEO in the live-streamed event.

“I don’t know what you think, but I wanted to focus on NewJeans.”

who is NewJeans ?

NewJeans, The girl band of Ador made their debut in 2022. The girl group has five members : Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.Their debut single”Attention” topped the Korean Circle Chart.Their girl next door image and modern takes on 1990s and 2000s musical styles attracts huge audience.

Shortly after, their songs “hype boy” and “Cookie” became the longest-running song on the Billboard Global 200 by a K-pop female act along with the debut single.

“Ditto” of the album “OMG”gained huge popularity and became the longest-running number-one song on the Circle Digital Chart and their first entry on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.

Their second EP, Get Up, charted number one on the US Billboard 200 and sold over one million copies in the nation. Its lead single, “Super Shy”, became the highest-charting song on the Billboard Global 200 (number two), the United States Billboard Hot 100, and the United Kingdom Singles Chart. NewJeans were featured in listicles such as Time’s Next Generation Leaders and Forbes’s Korea Power Celebrity 40 and also received rookie awards. In 2023,IFPI announced them the eighth best-selling artist worldwide .

During the conference, Hee-jin confirmed consulting shaman’ friend about BTS and taking over management while the members prepare for mandatory military service. Among other allegations, her outburst about BTS and their success infuriated fans.

This was not the end of it. Several unauthorised sources then reported and accused the corporation of lobbying for BTS awards and manipulating music charts. However, the allegations became more serious when one of the reports claimed that BTS members were affiliated with the Dahn World cult.

In a press release, the corporation responded firmly on Weverse, saying, “The suspicions being raised are completely unfounded. The company stated that those who violate the artists’ rights will face serious legal consequences.

Lee Seung Heon founded Dahn World, which is well-known for encouraging cult behaviour. People in this cult worship Mago, the goddess of space, who also happened to be the last single released by GFRIEND before they split. The fact that several BTS members attended Global Cyber University, which was founded by the person who started the cult, caused some in the audience to question the allegations.

Bold Fandom stepping infront to protect Bangtan:

All these false rumours are affecting the image and reputation of the global sensation, BTS. Hence, one of the Fan decided to take a bold step and published a statement on a full page of the Korean newspaper.

“ We support Bts, not hybe” was quoted in big and bold letters. The fandom is supporting the individual who did this action
