Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, also known as Atal Setu is the longest sea bridge in India

21.8 km long

The six-lane sea bridge was inaugurated by PM Modi on Jan 12, 2024 

The bridge originates from Sewri in Mumbai and terminates at Nhava Sheva  in Raigad District

CONNECTIVITY

It will reduce the travel time from 2 hours to approx. 15 minutes

BENEFIT

The speed limit for  4-wheelers on the bridge will be 100kmph, limited to 40kmph on ascent or descent

SPEED

It is India’s first sea bridge to incorporate an Open Road Tolling (ORT) System

WHAT ELSE

Bikes, autos, and tractors won’t be allowed on the sea bridge

It is built at a cost of rupees 18,000 crore
