Aditya L1 Launch Date

This spacecraft will cover a distance of about 1.5 million km

Distance:

Location in space where the gravitational forces of two celestial bodies, are in equilibrium allowing objects placed there to remain relatively stable

L1 in Aditya-L1 

To study the Sun without eclipses & the effects of solar  activities on space weather 

Objectives of Aditya L1 

This mission is expected to operate for about 5 years 

Duration:

Around 1500 kilograms 

Weight:

 This spacecraft carries seven payloads helping observe and  study the photosphere, chromosphere, and corona (outer layers of the Sun) 

Payloads of Aditya L-1 

Out of the seven payloads, four will directly view the Sun  while the rest three will carry out in-situ studies at the L1

The sanctioned budget of Aditya L1 without its launch cost is about rupees 378.53 crore
