Selena Gomez kick-started her Rare Impact Fund Gala on Wednesday, 4th October 2023 in Los Angeles. Many celebrities and influencers attended the Gala and walked down the red carpet after the rare beauty founder and creator, Selena. She looked dazzling in her silver halter gown, matched with silver chandelier earrings.
Selena Gomez was simultaneously nervous and excited because it was her first Gala and she was ready to play the hostess.
Selena Gomez founded the Rare Beauty brand in the year 2020 of which 1% of the sales of all products go to the Rare Impact Fund as a commitment to providing mental health services for all those in need.
A Night of Radiance and Reflection
The ‘Single Soon’ singer hosted her first Gala and it was for a good cause. The event named A Night Of Radiance and Reflection brought out Hollywood’s biggest names who were in attendance, all bringing their A-Style on the red carpet. The event was held to support the singer’s beauty company, Rare Beauty’s Rare Impact Fund, which aims to provide all the necessary resources for people to support their mental health.
Martin Short, Selena’s Only Murders in the Building co-star, was the emcee of the event and also featured a special performance by H.E.R
As for Selena’s outfits, she bedazzled the crowd a few times by appearing in different outfits throughout the event.
She walked the red carpet in a silver halter gown and seemed to have left a trail of shimmer down the carpet. The gown was paired with dazzling chandelier earrings and Selena Gomez styled short straight hair to complete the look.
Selena Gomez then changed into Rahul Mishra’s glittery purple frock that looked like a bloomed flower with its petals wrapped around the bodice.
Later on during the event, Selena Gomez was seen in a high-neck mini dress made of velvet and had illustrations inspired by plants and wildlife.

Selena Gomez recently reflected on the critics who commented on her body online in 2017 as she privately battled Lupus and eventually needed a kidney transplant.
In an interview with Fast Company, Selena shared that, “None of the sample sizes were fitting, and that would make me feel embarrassed, although how unrealistic is it to expect a normal woman’s body not to change?” She also said that all these thoughts and critical opinions were coming at a time when she no longer had a teenager’s body.
But physical appearance wasn’t the only problem she was dealing with. With the public break in 2018 that she went through with Justin Bieber, she started comparing herself with people on social media.
She also said that she didn’t feel positive about herself.
“Wow, I wish my body looked like that.”
