What happened in recent history?
Three police stations in Punjab were attacked within the space of one week, egging security agencies to consider the possible involvement of Khalistani terrorists. A Friday evening assault targeted the Bangar police post in Gurdaspur, while a blast passed at the Islamabad police station in Amritsar on the day before Tuesday. An explosion passed near Bakshiwal police post, also in Gurdaspur. Still, there were no injuries in these explosions.
