Jonathan Tah, Marcus Rashford, and many more names are being linked with Barcelona currently. Many outgoings are also supposed to happen; Ronald Araujo, Christensen, and Eric Garcia’s contracts expire in 2026.

Barcelona is in a decent position in the league and Champions League halfway through the season. As the winning form has not been appreciable in the last few games, the club is going to make a few changes in the squad in the upcoming windows (winter and summer).

Incomings

Nico Williams

Jorge Mendes wants the Rafael Leão-Barça move to happen, but there are no confirmations from any inside sources for this move. There are 4 to 5 more names for the left-wing spot. The sporting director wants Luis Diaz, while Laporta wants a bigger name like Leao or Nico Williams

According to the journalist Toni Juanmarti, Nico Williams would like to join Barcelona in 2025. This move will likely happen in the summer and not in the upcoming winter window as the club is already facing hurdles in registering players.

Jonathan Tah is also another big name on the table for Barcelona. As Roger Torelló reports, the player is a priority as a free transfer for July 2025 and not for January. Talks are ongoing between Barcelona and Leverkusen to make it happen. Bayern wanted to sell earlier, but the player wanted Barcelona. Bayern too remained attentive to the situation earlier, but at this moment, Barca are the front runners.

Free Agents of next summer

Barcelona are also considering some players for the winger role; Leroy Sane and Chelsea’s Nkunku are two of them. According to The Mirror, Leroy Sane can be a top target for Barca to sign as a free agent, as his contract at Bayern is ending in 2025. The Spanish Giants also have a chance to sign Christopher Nkunku, as his representatives have made an offer, according to Diario SPORT.

According to the report of Mundo Deportivo Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Joshua Kimmich, Mohamed Salah, and Thomas Partey are some players that Barcelona is tracking as free agents for the summer window.

Outgoings

Frankie and Araujo

Frankie De Jong and Ronald Araujo are under threat of getting sold as their contracts will expire in 2026. The club definitely doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake as they did with Ilkay Gundogan. The La Masia graduate Araujo, if sold, would be pure profit for Barcelona. The reason is his availability; the player’s repeated injuries have made the club reassess their position.

Diario SPORT: If Barcelona signs Jonathan Tah, it is anticipated that Eric García and Andreas Christensen will depart the team.

Like Araujo. Eric Garcia and Cristensen’s contracts also expire in 2026. If the club gets Tah, then they will have an abundance in defensive positions. Barca will try to avoid losses by selling the two defenders in 2025.

Victor Roque

FC Barcelona is also interested in accepting offers from clubs for Real Betis loanee Victor Roque. The player has no future in the club as he seems to be out of the manager’s plans. English clubs, including Spurs (says Relevo), have shown interest in signing the Brazilian striker. The rushed signing has failed, and the club will have to bear a huge loss if Roque is not able to raise enough money.

Ansu Fati remains on the outgoing list for Barcelona once more as the club is keen on raising funds for new signings. In the current season the player has played just 158 minutes of football, which clearly shows that he is not in future plans.

Amidst all the rumors and reports of the transfers, the topmost priority of the club in the upcoming window would be registering players like Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
