A BIG EVENT

Devendra Fadnavis’s oath was taken in the presence of cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood stars adding glitter to the ceremony being Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt and Radhika Merchant & the Ambanis.

Other than Bollywood stars from Rohit Shetty, Vidya Balan, industrialist one KM Birla has also pulled hand on swearing in of Maharashtra CM.

The MAHARASHTRA’S NEW GOVERNMENT

Fadnavis was sworn-in again, along with Ajit Pawar as his deputy, in 2019 when the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena snapped ties with the BJP over the Chief Minister post.

It is also the third time that Devendra Fadnavis is made Chief Minister. He served his first term from 2014 to 2019. Fadnavis was in power for five days from November 25 in his second term.

Fadnavis was sworn in again in 2019 after the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena parted ways with the BJP over the Chief Minister’s post, with Ajit Pawar as his deputy. This government, however, lasted just 72 hours because Pawar could not muster enough support from NCP MLAs.

Union home minister Amit Shah, NDA-ruled CMs, ex-Maharashtra CMs, foreign diplomats, actors from Hindi and Marathi films and Ladki Bahin beneficiaries joined PM Narendra Modi for the new government’s swearing-in.
