Jaane tu ya jaane na Abbas Tyrewala’s directorial debut which is about a coming of age romantic comedy and friendship. The film at its core, follows the story of two childhood friends Jai (Imran Khan) and Aditi (Genelia D’Souza), who, despite their contrasting personalities, share an unbreakable bond. Jai, with his calm and non-confrontational demeanour, perfectly balances the fiery and impulsive Aditi. The gang sings along to the old song from the 1973 romantic drama Aa Gale Lag Jaa directed by Manmohan Desai  which they also keep going back to in their film, on its 16th anniversary.  

In a video shared by Aamir Khan productions captioned: 16 years and we are still singing this song for everyone we love (with a heart emoji). 

We see Jai (Imran Khan) and Aditi (Genelia Dsouza) whose chemistry on screen was palpable, along with Shaleen (SugandhaGarg) Jiggy (Nirav Mehta) Rotlu (Karan Makhija) Bombs (Alishka Varde) and Meghna (Manjiri Fadnis)  in a video of each of them singing along to Jaane tu ya jaane na,along with a surprise clip. Although each of them are at different locations and the video is clipped together, the nostalgia hits the same for all the fans. 

In the video, fans of the beloved movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” were seen taking a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about the film and its memorable moments. Many fans expressed a strong desire to see the film re-released in theatres, as it has become a classic among Bollywood romantic comedies.
