Rashford nowadays is seen on social media more for his social works and not for football. After not getting selected for the last Manchester Derby the player did not hold back with his side of the story in an interview with Henry Winter. Says he is ready for a new chapter which clearly means he wants to leave.

Fall out with the Manager

Rashford is a mancunian and a United academy graduate. He has been the face of the club since 2016 after a full season debut under Louis Van Gaal. Managers came and left but every season the homegrown lad got chances to settle into the team and take responsibilities. However the 27-year old still is not available when the team needs him the most.

After a disastrous season under the former manager the new manager Amorim was all set to use Rashford in his line-up as a starter but the player could not prove himself. Rashford has been a big game player as he has scored against all the top PL clubs but this is not enough to be a starter especially when the club is struggling.

Rashford in his interview with Henry Winter mentioned his interest in moving from the club. Adding to it he said “When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Man United”.

The fans are unable to understand the mindset of the player as he has no right to throw any negative comments on the club nor does he need to portray himself as a victim. The club pays him 350k plus euros per week and hence it’s on the club whether he will leave or not.

Next Club for Rashford

The Man United player earns massive wages compared to other club players. €337,000 approximate salary is nearly impossible to be paid by most of the clubs and especially in La Liga or Bundesliga. Still there are few probable clubs who can accommodate the player.

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG could be the top contenders to sign the 27 year-old player from Man United. They are also one of the few clubs who can afford such a huge wage bill. After the departure of Mbappe PSG tried a lot of players for the positions like their own lad Bradley Barcola, Kolo Muani, Dembele. None of the players other than Barcola seems to be fit to replace Mbappe in the team, Rashford’s entry could really make sense where he gets to play in the UCL every year. Alongside Barcola, Dembele and others Rashford will have to mould himself into the PSG squad be it in any position, left wing, right wing or striker.

Arsenal

The London club is in need of signings currently and the top priority being a forward. They have only Kai Havertz as their striker who are unlikely to produce the amount of goals they need to win the league, Rashford’s signing makes sense for them. On the left they have Martinelli and Trossard who are decent enough to help them compete but not for winning a trophy. The wages may be a point of disagreement for the player and the club; somehow if the player agrees on a pay cut Arsenal will be excited to sign Rashford.

Tottenham Hotspur

The only other club who can afford such a signing other than Arsenal is Spurs. The club definitely need a back-up or long term replacement for their left wing position as Son is 32 already. Probably in one or two years they will have to replace him with a similar kind of profile and Rashford is that. Under Ange and his management Rashford can produce some good numbers playing in London.
