The brutal killing of a couple and their 23-year-old girl in South Delhi’s Neb Sarai has been investigated, with police recognizing the executioner as the 20-year-old child, Arjun. The stunning wrongdoing unfolded on the couple’s 27th wedding commemoration, allegedly over property debate and individual grievances.

The casualties, Rajesh Kumar (51), Komal Kumar (46), and their girl Kavita, were found dead in their home on Wednesday morning. Rajesh and Komal had been wounded in their rest, whereas Kavita was assaulted when she got up. Arjun at first claimed he found the bodies after returning from a morning walk, but police examinations rapidly unraveled his adaptation of occasions.

The Crime and Arrest

According to the police, Arjun perfectly arranged the murders, motivated by sentiments of embarassment and hatred. Authorities uncovered, he was irritated by his father’s choice to take off the family property to his sister. After a long time of pressure and disparities, Arjun supposedly chose to murder his family and planned the act to coincide with his parents’ commemoration.

Joint Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain expressed that CCTV film appeared no signs of an untouchable entering the house, and there were no signs of constrained section or theft. After inconsistencies developed in Arjun’s narrations, he was taken into custody and confessed amid addressing. Arjun did his schooling at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and is a second-year Bachelor of Arts student at Delhi University. He is also a trained boxer and represented Delhi in a boxing event, where he won a silver medal.

Motive and Background

Mr Jain said Arjun told the police that his father, Rajesh, was an ex-serviceman and scolded him regularly about academics and chores. Rajesh further shouted at and thrashed Arjun and “humiliated” him in front of his neighbours recently. Arjun also felt no one supported him in the family, which had led him to harbour a grudge against his parents and sister.

Political Reactions

Before the murder was cracked, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi had attacked the Centre, which controls the Delhi Police, and accused it of failing to ensure the security of residents in the National Capital.

“There was a triple murder in Neb Sarai this morning. Murders are happening in broad daylight in Delhi, bullets are being fired, and drugs are being sold openly. The central government has only one responsibility in Delhi – to provide security to the people of Delhi. They have completely failed in their responsibility,” she posted on X.

“Three murders in the same house in Neb Sarai… This is extremely painful and frightening. Every day, Delhiites wake up to such frightening news. Criminals have been given a free hand, and law and order has collapsed. Homes are being destroyed, innocent lives are being lost. And those who are responsible are silently watching all this happen,” he wrote on X.

Current Status

Arjun is presently in police guardianship and confronting charges for the triple kill. The case has highlighted the delicacy of family connections and the critical results of uncertain grievances.
