Rally Battle has begun by the leaders of major Maharashtra Assembly elections contesting parties. As the assembly elections coming up soon in Maharashtra, PM Narendra Modi, representing BJP party led Mahayuti alliance and Oppostion Leader Rahul Gandhi representing Congress and INDIA alliance rallied in different regions of the state for election campaigns. During these rallies, both of them have made comments against eachother and their parties way of governments. However such competitive rallies by the leaders of parties holding the office, also raises concerns for the political development of India.

He gathered support in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Panvel, and Mumbai. With a large crowd anticipated at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Mumbai police have already put in place certain limitations. Opposition leaders continued to criticize the Mahayuti alliance.
PM Modi stated, “Those who have issues with the name of Shambhaji Maharaj, those who believe in the Messiah of those who killed him, aren’t they going against the pride of Maharashtra and Maratha identity? Aren’t they against our essence? Will Maharashtra ever accept such individuals?” ANI

Accusing the Congress of promoting a divisive agenda and being against reservation and meritocracy, PM Narendra Modi in a passionate speech to the OBCs reiterated the slogan, “Hum ek hain toh safe hain.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday criticized the Congress for giving the ‘Garibi Hatao’ slogan but accused the party of exploiting the poor, adding that the party’s approach was to prevent the poor from advancing.
“If the poor are benefiting, you feel content, but the Congress remains unimpressed with this,” Modi said, speaking at a rally in Panvel, Maharashtra, for the upcoming November 20 state assembly elections.
“The Congress dominates in vote bank politics, yet it is the enemy of the poor,” Modi said. The poor have a significant responsibility to oppose the Congress, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday criticized Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena (UBT) for “giving up the remote control” of the party to the Congress.
“Mumbai is a city of dignity, but a party in Maha Vikas Aghadi has surrendered its “remote control” to those who have insulted Balasaheb Thackeray,” Modi said, addressing his final public rally before the November 20 Maharashtra assembly elections.
Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi at Rally
Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of lacking understanding of the Constitution. Gandhi made this statement in response to the BJP’s “red book” initiative, suggesting that he believes Modi’s policies are not in line with the principles of the Constitution.
“He has never visited a state facing turmoil for over a year,” Gandhi pointed out, highlighting the lack of attention from the Prime Minister to regions like Manipur.
Gandhi also criticized Modi for not adhering to the Constitution’s teachings on equality, citing the Prime Minister’s decision to not waive the loans of the poor and farmers, in contrast to the loans of the wealthy, as an example.
During a campaign event in Maharashtra, Gandhi took a break to enjoy a glass of sugarcane juice and engage with local women, showing a more personal side of his campaign.
He also addressed the issue of the “red book,” a controversial symbol used by his party, suggesting that those who criticize it for being empty are not familiar with the Constitution.
Gandhi’s comments were made in response to allegations from the BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis that the “red book” was being used to gain support from radical groups, suggesting a political motive behind its use.
